Exit Science began in 2023, working with early-stage life sciences companies to strengthen product-market fit and build more commercially grounded business plans. That work revealed a larger problem: good recommendations were not enough. Investors, boards and management teams needed a shared, repeatable way to identify what was limiting growth, agree on what mattered most and measure whether action was creating value. Through extensive conversations with private equity firms, venture capital firms and family offices, we discovered that this challenge extended across entire portfolios. Those insights led us to transform Exit Science from a consulting practice into D³: an AI-enabled platform that helps investment teams assess companies consistently, identify critical valuation drivers, prioritize action and monitor improvement over time. Built with input from experienced investors, operators, advisors and technology experts, Exit Science is creating a more systematic path from portfolio oversight to continuous valuation improvement.
